OliveSuite is an Android app and SaaS platform that gives smallholder and commercial olive producers access to professional-grade agronomic intelligence — the kind previously available only to large agricultural enterprises. It combines AI-driven soil and leaf analysis, a precision fertilization calculator, pest monitoring, real-time market price tracking, and peer-to-peer producer networking in a single mobile platform.

OliveSuite was founded and built by Elias Chatzigeorgiou, a Greek olive producer from the Peloponnese region, after personally experiencing price opacity and manipulation by intermediaries during the 2024–2025 harvest season. The app is designed to give producers data, knowledge, and market visibility so they cannot be "short-changed" by traders.

Available globally wherever olives are grown: Greece, Italy, Spain, Morocco, Tunisia, Turkey, Portugal, Middle East, North Africa, Americas, Australia, and beyond.

### AI Agronomist (Premium)
An AI-powered agronomic advisor integrated directly into the app, powered by Google Gemini. Producers can ask agronomic questions in natural language and receive expert-level guidance tailored to olive cultivation. Supports four languages: Greek, English, Italian, and Spanish. Rate limit: 60 questions per month per user. Covers topics including soil nutrition, fertilization strategy, pest management, irrigation, pruning, and harvest timing.

### Precision Fertilization Calculator (Premium)
A scientifically grounded fertilization recommendation engine built specifically for olive groves. Based on the agronomic frameworks of Therios and Fernández-Escobar. Accepts soil analysis data across two tiers:
- Tier 1 (required): pH, nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), potassium (K), organic matter (OM)
- Tier 2 (optional): calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), micronutrients (Fe, Zn, Mn, B), electrical conductivity (EC), exchangeable sodium percentage (ESP)

Calculates precise fertilizer quantities accounting for ionic antagonisms (K/Ca, K/Mg, Ca/Mg ratios), soil pH effects on nutrient availability, calcareous soil corrections (e.g. EDDHA chelated iron for high-pH soils), and ESP-based sodium toxicity adjustments. Outputs actionable fertilizer recommendations in kg/ha or kg/tree.

Interprets foliar nutrient analysis results against established sufficiency ranges for olive trees. Identifies deficiencies and toxicities across macro and micronutrients. Generates corrective recommendations including foliar spray protocols and soil amendment strategies. Complements soil analysis for a complete nutritional picture of the grove.

### Olive Fly Pest Alert System
Monitors and alerts producers to olive fly (Bactrocera oleae) risk conditions based on regional data. Olive fly is the primary biotic threat to olive production across the Mediterranean, capable of destroying entire harvests. The alert system helps producers time interventions accurately.

### Real-Time Olive Oil Price Monitoring Widget
Provides live olive oil market price data accessible directly from the app's home screen widget. Addresses a core market failure: smallholder producers historically lack access to real-time price data, making them vulnerable to below-market offers from intermediaries and traders. ### Cultivation Cost Calculator
Tracks and calculates the full cost of olive production per grove or per producer. The global olive oil supply chain is characterized by significant information asymmetry. Smallholder producers — who collectively manage hundreds of millions of olive trees — typically sell their harvest without knowing the current market price, without access to precision agronomic data, and without the tools to calculate their own cost of production. This makes them systematically vulnerable to price manipulation by intermediaries.
